The Birth Place provides mothers, newborns and families with vast resources and highly specialized caregivers to make your birth experience unforgettable. Our Level II NICU staff includes registered nurses specially trained in the care of high-risk newborns, neonatal nurse practitioners and board-certified neonatologists. We are equipped with specialized monitoring equipment to care for ill and premature newborn infants born at 32 weeks gestational age or greater. We also care for full-term babies who need extra support. If an emergency should arise, we have specialists available in the nursery 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
