Anurag K Singh, MD

Dr. Anurag Singh is a hematologist and medical oncologist at The University of Kansas Cancer Center. His particular areas of interest include half-matched (haploidentical) donor transplants for hematological malignancies, immunotherapies like chimeric antigen receptor cell (CAR T) therapy and hereditary conditions predisposing to blood cancers.

His consistent goal is to create a healing environment where scientific excellence meets individualized, compassionate care. His philosophy of care is to engage deeply with patients to explore their motivating factors, ensuring the "how" of treatment aligns with their unique "why."

Dr. Singh decided to go into oncology not only because it provides the tools to prolong life for patients but because it also provides an opportunity to address the human experience surrounding cancer.

He received his medical degree from University of Delhi, India, and then completed an internal medicine residency and hematology-oncology fellowship from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York.

In his spare time, he likes to travel with his wife and 2 daughters.
