Evelyn S Qin, MD

Dr. Evelyn Qin is an oncology rehabilitation physician who specializes in treating the musculoskeletal, neurologic, cognitive and additional side effects of cancer or cancer treatments, including radiation, chemotherapy, surgery and more. She collaborates closely with oncology providers and a team of therapists to create a holistic rehabilitation plan. As part of your comprehensive cancer care team, her goal is to support your overall well-being and assist you in returning to your daily activities and the things that are most important to you.

Dr. Qin was born and raised in Ames, Iowa, and has a passion for serving patients in the Midwest and beyond. She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis and went on to the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine for medical school. She also completed her master's degree in public health at the University of Iowa College of Public Health. She completed her physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the University of Washington, where she served as chief resident. She did a fellowship in cancer rehabilitation at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, one of the best cancer centers in the world. She is dedicated to helping patients with their function and quality of life during their cancer journey.

In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis, making art and traveling.
